Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs)

Memphis International Airport (MEM) has 25 AEDs that are connected to the alarm systems and are installed throughout the airport. See locations on the airport map.

Airport Police and Airport Operations (health station) personnel also have access to additional AEDs. For assistance, call Airport Police at 901-922-8298.

Memphis International Airport (MEM) has an onsite fire department and ambulance. Also, there are numerous trauma kits throughout the airport.

Blue Suede Volunteers

Memphis International Airport has a volunteer customer service corps called the Blue Suede Service.

Be on the lookout for Blue Suede Service volunteers wearing white shirts and khaki trousers, with a blue vest that features a Blue Suede Service logo.

In addition to being one of the friendliest customer service groups around, Blue Suede volunteers will assist with finding food and retail locations, answering questions about your travel needs, and sharing what the Memphis community has to offer.


ATMs are in the baggage and ticketing levels of Terminal B, in the Concourse B Rotunda and in the A-B connector just west of the B security checkpoint near the Regions Bank office. View Airport Map

Delta Sky Club

The Delta Sky Club is adjacent to the B security checkpoint in the walkway between the B and C concourses. Hours are Sundays through Fridays from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. View Airport Map

Foreign Currency Exchange

The Foreign Currency Exchange is in the ticket lobby of Terminal B. It is open Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. It offers insurance, foreign currency and other services for international travel.

Handicap Accessibility

Memphis International Airport (MEM) has 134 accessible parking spaces. These covered spaces are nearest to the terminal walkways and elevators in all of our parking facilities.

Wheelchair service is available at two locations for departing passengers:

  • Curbside check-in counters
  • Ticket counters

At curbside, you may notify the skycap, who will inform the airline that a passenger needs assistance. Wheelchair service is also available at the ticket counter.

Airlines can also help make passenger wheelchair arrangements in advance of arrival. Passengers should inform the airline during the booking process that wheelchair assistance is needed.

All restrooms are fully accessible under Americans With Disabilities Act policies and are ADA compliant.

Family/unisex restrooms are throughout the terminal and concourses for passengers who need assistance:

  • -Gate A33 (two restrooms)
  • -Gate A25 (two restrooms)
  • -B Baggage Claim (two restrooms)
  • -Between A and B Ticket Lobbies
  • -Between B and C Ticket Lobbies
  • -Beside B Checkpoint – secure side (two restrooms)
  • -Gate B30 (two restrooms)
  • -Gate B22 (two restrooms)
  • -Gate C8 (two restrooms)
  • -Gate C16 (two restrooms)

Health/First Aid Station

The Dorothy L. Bobbitt Health Station is in the ticket lobby of Terminal B. It is open Mondays through Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Health Station is capable of treating minor illnesses and injuries.
