Do Business with MEM

Memphis International Airport is committed to increasing partnerships with small, local, disadvantaged, minority and/or women-owned businesses for the purchase of goods and services for the airport. Three programs are offered to encourage these partnerships:

Depending on the goods or services to be purchased and the source of airport funding for those goods and services (federal or not), both of which impact the program selected, request for bids will be distributed under one of the above programs.

Step One – Complete Application and Get Certified

Get your business certified to participate in upcoming bid opportunities.

If you are a minority- or woman-owned business, you are encouraged to complete the DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) certification process. This will allow you to bid on both Business Diversity Development and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise projects. Begin this certification process by completing the DBE application. You will then be contacted for an on-site interview at your place of business. This process can take up to 90 days, so be sure to get certified well in advance of your desire to bid on goods and services.

If you are a small business, you are encouraged to complete the Small Business Participation application.

If you are a minority- or woman-owned business, you are encouraged to complete both applications so that your company will be able to bid on all relevant goods and services.

If you are specifically interested in bidding on a concessions contract, you will want to complete this alternative Airport Concession DBE application instead.

You may return all completed applications by mail to: Memphis Airport, Office of Contract Compliance, 3505 Tchulahoma Road, Memphis, TN 38118-2718. You may also fax your application to: 901-922-2560.

Step Two – Review Available Bids and Submit a Proposal

Once certified, check out our Bid Notification Process to see how you can learn about goods and services up for bid. If your company offers the goods or services requested, we encourage you to submit a proposal according to the guidelines provided in the bid notification.
